Why Give on Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a day that encourages people to do good. It is always on the Tuesday following US Thanksgiving. Created in 2012 in New York City to inspire generosity with the concept that “the suffering of others should be as intolerable to us as our own suffering.” It is now a global movement.

Around the world, millions of Christians are persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ; hundreds of thousands of families suffer extreme poverty and homelessness due to wars and acts of terror.

Door of Hope International is preparing to help thousands of families living in extreme poverty this coming Christmas.

By giving this Giving Tuesday, you will help us reach our goals!

Your gift of $10 or more will help provide persecuted families and poverty stricken families in war-torn countries with food, warm clothing, blankets, heating oil and a special toy for their children.

Let us remember how blessed we are here in our warm and comfortable homes. Every act of generosity counts.

It doesn’t take a lot to brighten the hope of a child.

We can do this. You can help one child, one family…
