Pilot Ryan Kohler Granted Provisional Release From Prison in Mozambique

Dear Friends,

We can praise the Lord for the provisional release from prison of MAF pilot Ryan Koher!

We just received the great news that Ryan and the two South African men, detained in Mozambique for over four months, were all released on Tuesday, March 14th.

Here is the note that Annabel Koher forwarded to us:

“After 131 days detained, Ryan has been granted a provisional release along with the two South African men. We praise God for all that He did to sustain Ryan while imprisoned & for bringing about this release! I am overjoyed at the thought of the people around the world who will be praising God’s name with us and bringing Him glory!

“Blessed be the Lord, for he has heard the sound of my pleading. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart celebrates, and I give thanks to him with my song.” Psalms 28:6-7

Ryan is not able to leave Mozambique at this time as the case is still ongoing, so please continue praying!”

Since Ryan is required to remain in Mozambique while his case is pending, we ask that you continue to pray that the Lord would grant Ryan a full release from all charges and bring him safely home to his wife and children.

If you’d like to send a note of encouragement to Annabel and Ryan, you can do so at prayforpilotryan@maf.org

I have a great burden for the sorrowing families of men and women imprisoned for their faith. I thank you for your care and prayers!

Together in His Ministry!
