A DEMONIC POWER IS SPREADING IN IRAN

International Prayer Day for Woman in Iran – JULY 11, 2020

Door of Hope International is glad to participate in an international prayer for women of Iran as we believe that many Christian women are suffering “in the name of religion” around the world. We encourage you to join us!

Below is the desire from a partner in ministry whose heart was moved by the horrible demonic power that is now spreading in Iran:

I want to talk about the woman of Iran, the country where I was born, because of an urgent rise in violence against women in a country that has been suffering for over forty years.

As a father of two amazing daughters, I know we must protect our daughters no matter the cost.

Since the Garden of Eden, there has been enmity between the woman and the devil. He knew that the Savior of the world would be born from a woman.

Prior to the Islamic revolution of 1979, Iranian women had equal rights with men. With the revolution, women lost their rights. They lost their basic human rights in the name of religion. Islamic nations talk a lot about women’s rights, but the truth is, under Islam women’s rights are limited.

Despite these limitations and suffering, the most powerful and amazing work of the Holy Spirit is seen among the women in Iran. Many of the leaders of house church movement are women. They have risen up against injustice and corruption and are at the forefront of social change.

Many have been arrested, imprisoned and even raped in prisons in Iran. But nothing has been able to stop them. They are top lawyers and defenders of human rights. Some have been forced to leave the country. Some received long sentences and are still in prison.

Many have lost their livelihood and are under tremendous financial distress. The world has heard about them and honored them. Shirin Ebadi has received the Nobel Peace Prize for her human rights endeavors.

Here are some of the Islamic laws practiced in Iran:

  • Women have half the value of men. The testimony of two women are equal to the testimony of one man!
  • The mother is unable to keep her children if she divorces her husband!
  • If a woman wants to travel, she has to get permission from her husband!
  • A husband can easily accuse his wife of infidelity. The punishment of adultery for a married woman is to be stoned to death. However, according to Islamic Sharia Law, a man can have four official wives and as many concubines as he wishes!

Some fathers sell their young daughters to old men for money. There are thousands of sad stories about very young girls who were forced to marry old men, and bear children when they were a child themselves! As a result, some die during childbirth, in honor killings, others have committed suicide.

Many Iranian women have been abused by their fathers, uncles, brothers, husbands and other men, and are in great pain.

Three young girls recently were brutally murdered by their fathers in “honor killings.” It is a new demonic practice that is spreading and causing great anguish, pain, fear and a crisis in Iran.

Fathers killing their own daughters! This is not something that Iranians were familiar with. This happened in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia but not in Iran.

It is the latest demonic attack on women, especially teenage girls by the hands of their own fathers who are supposed to be their protectors. This is so sad and tragic. These are actions straight from hell.

To put a stop to what the devil is doing in Iran, I am calling the Global Church to an International Day of Fasting and Prayer for the Women in Iran. The date is Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Please let your friends and family know about this Historic Day of Prayer.

Let our prayers and supplications for women in Iran saturate heaven!

Prayer that:

  1. The Lord would put a stop to demonic killings of young Iranian girls.
  2. Women in Iran will be given back their human rights.
  3. Many Iranian women will find salvation and dignity in Christ.
  4. Iranian Women will be filled with the precious Holy Spirit and minister with great anointing.
  5. Through the prayers and witness of Iranian Christian women, millions of Iranian and other Muslim women will find freedom in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
